Bolt-iT is the first of a range of detection products by D-Tex Visual Ltd for conditional based monitoring (CBM). The sensor can be fitted to existing fixings, joints and infrastructure without the need for disassembling, meaning that the integrity of the original assembly is maintained. Once installed, our technology is capable of detecting nut or bolt rotation, bend, shear and stretch as well as change in vibration levels or triple axis pitch and roll of any asset, making it perfect for detecting structure movement caused by geological or other natural events. Initially aimed at theme park applications, the system is now branching out into large scale construction projects, oil & gas and other sectors

    Bolt-iT achieves the detection of these abnormal conditions via 4 technologies,  all analysed and compared by the latest “AI edge processing” built in to the sensor, providing 24/7 monitoring of the asset and it’s fixings, giving greatly improved data and alarms over the conventional, periodic visual check methods.

    The standard built-in portal gives day to day functionality, but for advanced monitoring and management of assets, D-Tex Visual now offer Apex. Apex is a 3D visualization package capable of monitoring large groups on a global scale, handling data from thousands of Bolt-iT sensors from various assets, even in real-time from our PoE version. The data visualization incorporates accurate 3D models of each asset which can change dynamically based on the received data or user input. Operators can perform data comparisons, calculations and complex queries simply by typing the instruction into the latest “Chat Bot”. The system then automatically does the analysis and gives you the results. Automatic responses to control logic or situations based on the status of multiple data feeds can also be done if required as well as providing notifications to engineers via email and / or SMS. Report generation and other analytical tools are also catered for within  .
